Kathrine Diserud Mildal was offered a permanent role at Intrum Norway as an Analyst after completing the Next Generation Program.

What the opportunities were you offered through the Next Generation Program?

During my year as a NGP-graduate I was able to go to Helsinki on exchange, work on international projects from a Group perspective and become a part of a great analytics team in the Oslo office.

What did you gain from the program?

I was given the opportunity to work in different areas of the company and develop a range of skills and knowledge in various fields within analytics. And it was a great way to build my network, both in the office and internationally.

For me, the highlight of the program was going on exchange to Helsinki. I worked on challenging tasks with colleagues that welcomed me with open arms.

Share one of your best moments/highlights from the program

For me, the highlight of the program was going on exchange to Helsinki. I worked on challenging tasks with colleagues that welcomed me with open arms. A second highlight for me was the NGP-gatherings where we really got to know the company, experience new places and turn the NGP-team into friends.

Name a challenge you were faced with and how did you handle it?

Going to Helsinki challenged me in being by myself in an unfamiliar city. But I made the most of it, and loneliness soon turned into adventurousness. I went everywhere! And now I have a new favorite city.

Describe the role you have today in Intrum?

After the program, I was offered a permanent role as Analyst in the analyst and risk advisory team in the Norwegian organization. We analyze data and provide credit risk insight to help our clients make better decisions.

Being a part of this program will leave you with new perspectives and a great start to your career.

Why should a new graduate join the program?

You’ll meet people who will share all of their skills and knowledge to help you develop within your professional field and as a person. Being a part of this program will leave you with new perspectives, heaps of fun with the NGP-team and a great start to your career.

What recommendation would you give to a new graduate joining the program?

Make the most of it! Be open and interested, take time to reflect, learn new things, and have lots of fun with your team of cross-border colleagues.
