Merger with Intrum Justitia and Lindorff

In June 2017 Intrum Justitia and Lindorff merged to Intrum to create the industry leading CMS company with local presence in 24 markets across Europe and a team of more than 8,000 professional, committed and caring employees.

On the 14th of November Intrum Justitia and Lindorff announced to combine. The combination of Intrum Justitia and Lindorff creates the industry leading CMS company with local presence in 23 markets across Europe and a team of more than 8,000 professional, committed and caring employees. By joining forces, both local and global clients will benefit from a strong pan-European platform, enhanced service offering, innovative solutions and best in class compliance.

On June 12th 2017, the European Commission approved the combination* and on June 27th 2017, the transaction was finalised. From this day we are legally one entity - and later this year we will also be operating as one.

On October the 2nd it was announced that the combined Intrum Justitia and Lindorff becomes Intrum. The rebranding process will start on October 2nd in Sweden. The new brand will then be rolled out to the rest of the 23 markets later this year and in the beginning of 2018 with the aim finalize the rebranding process by the end of the first quarter 2018.

* The Commission’s decision was conditional upon the divestment of Lindorff’s business in Denmark, Estonia, Finland and Sweden as well as Intrum Justitia’s business in Norway. This means that Lindorff and Intrum Justitia will remain competitors in those five markets.
